troyan

troyan is a village of 22.000 inhabitants, 30 km south of lovech municipality and 160 km north-east of sofia. it its located near the center of bulgaria and the village is divided by the river beli osam, that contributes to the characteristic view of the village with many bridges across the river. 10 km north east is the famous monastery the assumption of the holy virgin, the third biggest cloister of bulgaria.
