if i walk
if i walk in the town
head up facedown
nose red like a clown
forehead in a frown
if i walk in the street
on the broken concrete
where we will meet
finally and very discrete
if i walk in the lane
with my pretty jane
and embraced again
i wouldn't abstain
if i walk in the park
along evergreen lark
there i put our mark
as a spark in the bark
